In the recent thunderstorm
The heavy downpour left
a tiny raindrop,
hanging on for dear life.And though insignificant,
for an instant,
that tiny raindrop
captured a rainbow
in it’s heart.
Broke the light
of the sun
into a million colours.
And inverted the entire world.But the moment passed
and the raindrop fell.
Now made insignificant
once more.
